Removing Unwated Veins
Cultura offers exceptional treatments of veins by offering both laser treatments and sclerotherapy injections. Some of the vascular lasers used by Cultura include the Diolite (KTP) laser, Cutera Nd:YAG, Candela GentleYAG, IPL and the Pulsed Dye laser. These lasers treat unwanted facial veins including tiny thread veins, capillaries, spider veins (a small cluster of dilated blood vessels), spider angiomas as well as varicose leg veins. Vasuclar laser light is absorbed by the blood in the unwanted vein. The blood is naturally converted to heat and destroys the unwanted vein.
At Cultura, sclerotherapy remains an excellent treatment option for facial, hand, chest, body and leg veins. Sclerotherapy is the injection of a sclerosing solution with a very fine needle directly into the veins to close the vein. Sclerosing solutions irate the vein walls causing the adjacent vein walls to stick together. Prior to the development of laser therapy, sclerotherpapy was considered the gold standard treatment procedure for leg veins. (Some still consider this so.)
The IPL (laser photorejuvenation) and Cutera Genesis lasers not only treat facial capillaries but they are excellent options to reduce generalized redness and dilated blood vessels often seen in patients who suffer from a chronic facial condition known as rosacea.
