What is Complexion Blending™? It is a fine tuned method of removing and reducing the imperfections that result in an uneven skin tone. Complexion Blending™ is Cultura's trademarked and proprietary way of blending your skin color and tone so that you no longer need to wear makeup to camouflage your unwanted dark spots, blemishes and scars.
Cultura remains the leader in Complexion Blending™ treatments to even out uneven skin tone. These treatments are safe and effective for all patients of all races, ethnicities and skin color. Complexion Blending™ combines several laser devices and dermatologic and spa technologies to greatly even the skin's tone and color.
Our dermatologists and staff are experts on performing Complexion Blending™ treatments and can safely treat all skin types and conditions, regardless of ethnicity or skin color. We also take pride in the way we treat each and every patient and are determined to provide caring, personalized service for each individual patient.
For patients with lighter skin tones, Cultura's experts choose from among 7 different non-invasive lasers to remove unwanted sun-damage, dark spots, facial moles and to remove melasma (symmetrical pigmented facial patches) which can be caused by over-exposure to the sun, trauma, or medical conditions. Because there is no recovery period with these lasers, patients can return to work or be seen by friends immediately after they have been treated. Most of Cultura's lasers are non-invasive (Fractional, Fraxel, Genesis, Cooltouch, IPL and Diolite) and require 3-6 monthly treatments.
For patients who want a slightly more aggressive approach and don't mind experiencing redness for a few days, Cultura has minimally invasive lasers available, such as the CO2 or Cutera Pearl, which require only one or two treatments to achieve the desired results. In addition Cultura has numerous lasers with the capacity to remove capillaries and leg veins.
Cultura takes pride in being able to safely and effectively treat patients with skin of color. Cultura has over 9 lasers that can safely be used on darker skin including Fractional, Fraxel, Cutera Genesis, Candela GentleYAG, Cynosure Affirm, Cooltouch, Syneron EMatrix, Diolite. These lasers are used to remove unwanted dark spots, melasma & moles, which also can be caused by: over-exposure to the sun; trauma; and hormonal changes from pregnancy, birth control pills and menopause. Cultura's success comes from tailoring treatment to the patient and combining appropriate laser treatments with cosmeceuticals, prescriptions which may include very high strength hydroquinone (bleaching cream) to help lighten the skin and bleach the dark spots; and spa services (dermatology facials, chemical peels, dermabrasion & microdermabrasion). Although there is cure for melasma, Cultura's integrated treatment approach for melasma strategy is able to maintain an even skin tone for years and years. To create the “Cultura Glow” Cultura often combines microdermabrasion with laser treatments on the same day, alternating different lasers during the patient's monthly visits.
