Brow Lift Surgery

Sometimes the eyes are blunted by skin because of heavy brows. The brows may be surgically elevated with a, 'brow lift', procedure. There are several ways to perform this procedure. The incision may be hidden in the hairline or in natural skin folds. The incision may also be hidden entirely behind the hairline. With an endoscopic browlift, minimal skin is excised, instead the brow is repositioned through small incisions hidden in the scalp. Depending on the degree of brow ptosis and an individual's hairline, the surgeon and patient may choose the procedure best indicated.

The Procedure
The procedure may be done under sedation and normally takes about 90 minutes. There may be some bruising during the first ten days, mild discomfort responsive to prescription pain medicine may be expected for 0-4 days. You can expect to be presentable to the public in 7-14 days with the help of make-up.

After Surgery
Postoperative pain is usually mild and relieved with oral medications. You may resume exercise within three weeks. Swelling and bruising will subside in a few weeks; it is important to elevate the head while sleeping. Cultura may apply a turban bandage for one day. You'll have surgical staples, which will be removed the first week after surgery. A forehead lift can cause some swelling or bruising that subsides quickly. You may experience some hair loss around the scar, but you can camouflage this easily with your hair.
Sutures are removed within the first week of surgery. Within 10 to 14 days, most people return to work or social situations and feel comfortable in public with makeup covering the incision lines. This procedure averages $2,000 to $2,500, depending upon the extent of surgery and areas treated.

Cultura accepts cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. For your convenience, financing is also available.
